Aloha,

We took surf lessons our first day on vacation with Kawehi and he was such a fine and patient instructor that we had the confidence to rent a board and surf down the West coast the rest of the week.  Now we’re looking into the limited opportunities to surf the mid Atlantic coast.  I’m sure that all of your instructors are good, Kawehi was excellent and we’ll remember him fondly.

Surfing was awesome i loved it sooooo much my dad promised me he would buy me a surf board i want a pink one but he said blue. Josh you are soooooooo awesome you tought me so much thanks

We recently met in Maui for a "Girl's Weekend" and left surfing for our last day on the island...though it was by far the best decision we made. Dan was an incredibly attentive and patient instructor. We'll be back next year! Mahalo, Ally and Katy.

Aloha Surf Academy - I took lessons last Friday w/the group of 8 from MN and Ben and Patrick did a great job w/the lessons. This was my 10th trip to the islands but my first time surfing. Though I was scared to death Patrick was able to help me figure out how to get up. It was awesome! I can't wait to come back and try it again. Mahalo and a hui hou ~ Amy

My husband and I were just in Maui to celebrate our 10th year Anniversary and one of the things we wanted to do was learn how to surf. We found Royal Hawaaian Surf Academy after strolling through the streets of Lahaina. It was truely one of the highlights of our trip! We had a semi-private lesson with Mike Ashfield who was a terrific instructor! He was very knowledgable, funny, kind and made our surf lesson so much fun! He not only taught us how to get up on the board and stay up on the board, but also the etiquette of surfing. We would recommend Mike and the Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy anyday! In fact we went back to the hotel that afternoon and convinced a couple on their honeymoon to go to your surf school. Please pass on a "hi" to Mike and tell him thanks!

It was great!: The personnel at Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy were very friendly and the instructor, Wes, was great. My daughter was up and surfing her very first try and we're going back this Christmas so I can learn, too. I want to put my picture up on the wall beside my daughter's.
